there’s no license restriction on the number of shelves or disks. Just make sure that they’re compatible and do not exceed the platform limits.

I have an FAS2240-2 that is out of maintenance. I'd like to buy some shelves off eBay and add them to it but I'm not sure if the number of shelves/disks is limited by the license codes. Does anybody know if there is any such restriction besides the 144 disk limitation?
