how do i find out if a volume is enabled for >2GB for a netapp.
thanks
Issue command "options" on the filer to check parameters. nfs.v2.df_2gb_lim off
This environment variable is for the machine and not a volume parameter and may need to be changed. This limits the visible space to nfs v2 clients.

Do you _really_ need to post anonymously to toasters?
Be a man, or woman, or small furry creature from Alpha Centauri, as the case may be, and come out of that closet!
And while you are at it, set your Subject header. [Note to fubar: bouncing messages to mailing lists with absent or empty Subject headers is ever such a good idea ...]

If you are referring to the option that limits the results returned by the NFS v2 STATFS call (e.g. as used by "df") to 2 GB, then Jim Harm has given you the answer.
But it's not entirely apparent to me that that _is_ what you meant. If you are are referring to support for individual files larger than 2 GB, then that's a matter of using NFS v3 and having the necessary client-side support.
Short messages are a fine thing, but it is possible to overdo it.
