Hello people,
I've just received a new F720 and a want to hookup a laptop with hyperterminal to the filer. Can anybody tell me how to configure the laptop/hypertermial to get it started?
TIA,
Jan & Leonard
Leonard, I have NT 4.0 on my laptop, and I am using the HyperTerminal program to connect to the Filer. Here are my settings on the Comm Port and Program:
BPS = 9600 Data = 8 Parity = None Stop Bits = 1 Flow Control = None Emulation = ANSI
Hope this helps, Mike

The most important thing is to make sure that you have hardware flow control turned _off_. Otherwise, you will probably be able to see the output from the console, but won't be able to type anything.
