hi,
i did this on my 760 6.1.1r2
created unix style qtree. copied files from sun box into it. changed qtree to ntfs. set acl on qtree[only] using nt 4 windows explorer. touched existing files from mount on sun box - no acl created on files in qtree. touched a new file from from mount on sun box - acl created on files in qtree.
touchd existing file from cifs session - no acl created on file. edited existing file from cifs session - no acl created on file. created new file from cifs session - acl created on file.
question, why doesn't editing file cause acl creation?
thanks.
