Mr Blank-Edelman, et al,
I am so sorry, this is not the patch. It has been one of those months for me..

I should not be so quick to jump in I suppose.
My apologies for wasting your time.

Sorry, which does what? Is a new patch? The others we tried a while back did not allow for successful merges. We're ok with not using a FDQN now, but it was problematic when we first tried to use your product.

We recently upgraded our Budtool 4.5 to 4.6 and ran into some or the problems mentioned in some of the emails. In particular we did need the patch to fix the btmerge problem related to FQDN and when I contacted intelliguard they mentioned that there had been a patch for this problem (the 4.6 patch 2 mentioned below).
However, they said the patch had been pulled because of some other problems they saw with the patch and they were going to re-release it once the fix was completed.
The iguard support person did put the patch out for me on the ftp site anyways because he did not feel I would run into any of the problems they had with the patch (I believe one of the problems is if you have history files greater then 2gb, the patch will not work for that history file),
They said the new patch should be out soon, but no specific date.
