We are running 6.1.1R2 on our netapp and are not having any trouble with our native mode win2k domain.
We seem to have a knack for finding software and hardware combinations that have compatability issues with Filers. Both our Solaris PCNetLink DC and our large format scanners by Oce have issues with our 720.
But right now we are looking at network scanning solutions for typical letter A/B size documents.
Anyone have smart scanners such as HP's Digital Sender set up to send files directly to the Network Appliance? Assuming CIFS on NFS shares set up on the Filer.
yes, they surely can do this. This is possible from the 6.1 version. Simply restart cifs setup. Make sure the time delta beetween Filers and the Win2k ad is less than 5 min (ideally synchronize them).
