Is there a way of displaying a message, when telneting to the toaster, before entering (username),password?
On solaris this can be fixed in at least two ways.
The reason for this question is that apparently there is no legal way of punishing someone who breaks into the computer if there isn´t a sign that says that it is illegal to enter.

Firstly, I don't think this is really true in most countries, although it is a popular CYA move that legal types like to include, just to eliminate that argument. (Besides, you wouldn't see the warning with rsh and other sorts of break-ins.)
Secondly, you can always just include your warning in the /etc/motd file. While they won't see the message until *after* they log in, they will still be informed at that point it is illegal, and thus, anything they do would still be prosecutable. If your legal argument is correct, the only thing you would not be able to punish is someone breaking in, and then not doing anything... which, while regrettable, wouldn't be much in the way of harm anyway.
