The funny thing is that rdfile is as tame as it gets from a command
standpoint, and does not require priv set advance (rc_toggle_basic).
rdfile may not be all that tame, though. Does it respect proper locking? Does it use the buffers correctly? Does it update atime? Is the access logged? Is it multi-threaded? Etc. It's probably not thoroughly tested with each release, either. The questions are rhetorical because the point is if it's not properly supported and documented there's really little guarantee things won't change and next release the command might not exist, might not work, or might even crash the filer.
