Yes, we have that, too.
If you use *nix and do a 'ping -f' to the filer, it responds with about 87%
packet loss.  I asked our local supplier about this and they told me this is
an intended design, and does not affect the performance of the machine.

I ahve two filers F740 and F520. It happens for both of them. Cisco router
pings filer and sucess rate is about 90%. We have switched network and it
doesn't matter if filer has 100Mb halfduplex or full duplex. If Cisco pings
SUN machine (the same network)
success rate is 100 %. Does anybody seen something similiar ?
