Has anyone worked much with SnapLock Compliance license? Because our purchase cycle may take a bit longer than planned, we are considering creating our SnapLock Compliant aggregate/flexvol using a 30-day trial license, and then add the full purchased license later. My question is whether the compliance clock and/or the WORM state of the data would be impacted once we remove the trial license key and attempt to add the full license key to the filer?
I'm suspecting there should be no impact, but wanted to verify with all of the SnapLock gurus out there. :)
I found KB 3010993 on the NOW site which only addresses the removal of a SnapLock license, which does not entirely cover the scenario I describe..
