I think you should get in the habit of changing default passwords, especially since they are documented. I think that one should provide as much open information about their product as possible. That includes default passwords. I don't want to have to remember one password just to find out another. I guess no password should be the default just to make sure that the administrator sets some password before he lauches the thing on a network.
