The replacement FC-AL PCI controller I'm about to add is a 32-bit card (as is the cluster FC-AL controller already installed). The on-board FC-AL controller is 64-bit.
Are there any performance differences between the two?
Geez, if this filer ever has to run in failover mode, it will have active FC-AL contollers in slots 1,2, active GigE in slots 6,7, active cluster interconnect in slot 8. Busy backplane.
Also, suddenly, my F740s are down to one free slot. Hrmph.
