Okay, now that the press release is out, and we all know the technical specs of the 840, what I want to know is:
Who's using one? Is the throughput as good as the specs show?
C'mon, spill it.
We've got one on order, and will put it through it's paces as soon as we get it. We use it specifically for multi-client compilation of our software. I through around 20 Solaris systems (mmostly Ultra80's and Ultra60's), a dozen or so HPC3000 systems and a dozen or so NT boxes at it to compile all three platforms we support, and we currently are stressing out our 760. I'll let y'all know what i find.
