Yeah, it locks the console. Use ssh/rsh instead. This will allow you to kick off multiple streams.

When I try to run ndmpcopy from one of my filers' (840s) console prompt, it locks up and does not release the console until after it is done not allowing me to type anything else in.
I realize that I can run ndmpcopy from any other hosts I'm just wondering if this is the correct behavior.
