whilst cleverly sidestepping the question about overclocking your toaster, am i the only person who doesn't think you've got an overstressed machine there? 2s of cache, a CPU that's only half-used and occasional bursts of writes looks like the right machine for the right job, to me. do you have other reasons for believing this machine not to be up to the job?
but i may be saying this because it upset me to have to upgrade an F330 to an F630 running at 3% CPU and 30-40s cache just because i needed all the disc space. that's another grumble, though.
