I would like to introduce myself. I am Barry Davis, the new Director of E-Service at NetApp. My sole purpose in life is to make the NOW site as effective as possible in allowing customers to be self sufficient. The responsibility for fixing our data integrity problems is considered a major impediment to this, and, as such, I am taking the lead on resolving the issues. [snip]
Pleased to meet you, congrats on your new job, and good luck with it.
One comment and suggestion: lumping all of your custumers located at a physical site into one site record just doesn't work. The group I'm in manages a number of filers, for various user organizations. We buy "site" licenses and lump the hardware and software support contracts for these filers together, so that we only have one or two contracts to deal with. Several people in our group can open cases with you against these systems. However, we have nothing to do with any of your many other customers at this physical location, but they are always listed with us under the "belllabs" site users. 90% I've never even heard of.
You need finer granularity in your customer tracking. There needs to be a way to track our group seperately from other groups at this same location.
Oh, one other thing: If you're site requires me to log in, please make the connection a secure one, as I'd rather not send my password in the clear.
