I didn't catch the cifs at the end in the first pass; sorry about that.
No, webnfs is different than cifs. cifs is akin to samba/syntax. It allows win95/winnt clients to "mount" shares from the filer (just as if it were an nt server). I believe the new version of cifs also does locking between nfs and cifs clients.
