I agree with Rohit, dfm should be the only application installed.
I guess I'll go down this path - maybe stick it in a VM. However it doesn't strike me as a particularly efficient solution. We're trying to consolidate monitoring not spread it out.
Is there a application compatibility list for DFM ? Can I install AV software at least ? How minimalist does the OS install need to be ?
Does it play nice with Microsoft MOM ? Or does anyone use the 3rd party NetApp MOM monitoring pack ?
