Unfortunately I have no test environment for simulating this before doing this in real life; asked this in Communities and created a case at netapp support, but no good suggestions yet. thanks for any input
I've done this. You'll end up with two copies of each VM available for backup. Remove the ones associated with the old host agent from the dataset, add the new ones, and you're good to go. It's best to do them all at once, otherwise you'll have two snapshots being taken during the migration. No re-baseline or other funny stuff happened. Case 2003127148 if that helps support.
