How the heck do you get the lid of a C1100?

Searched for a hardware guide for detailed stuff on the 1100, but didn't find anything other than the basic hardware install guide.

I wan tto get inside this baby and take a look at it, but I can't figure out how to get the lid off. Something in the front/center seems to be holding it, but I'll be hornswoggled if I can find a screw or anything.

Any tip appreciated.
