I have done a few implementations of this now.
Love the backup, love the HSM.
ONE CAVEAT with the new 7.0 code for the File Share Archiver. It has a new feature that uses fpolicy for the stub retrieval on the HSM side, and that works VERY well, EXCEPT when your user that triggers the recovery is attempting to access a stubbed file in a share that is an "auto-home" map. In this case the Commvault server tries to put the file in the autohome share, which of course doesn't exist for the commvault account's context. They know about the problem now, not sure how/if they will fix it.
If you aren't using AutoHome, this is not an issue and I strongly recommend the package. If you are using Autohome, you'll have to use the version of the file share archiver that requires an .msi to be installed on any client that needs to trigger a file recovery. Not the end of the world, but a little more cumbersome.

Is anyone using CommVault Galaxy for backups of Filers, as well as for their HSM (archiving) product? Any horror stories?
