If you are using racks (instead of cabinets), make sure you give yourself enough clearance 'round back to fully extended the motherboard tray (i.e., double the depth of the chassis). If you are using equipment cabinets and you have enough room to fully swing open the rear door, you should be set.
We are replacing our 19" racks with 24"x36" (WxD, outside dimensions) cabinets. The extra depth gives you lots of room for things like filers, Sun E450 servers, big Cisco gear, etc. plus maneuvering room for power strips and cable raceways. The Netapps hum away nicely, hidden behind smoked Lexan. :)
