Some users here have recently reported significant slowdowns with some testing suites. They claim the addition of a few directories to a certain path triggered the performance degradation and are asking me about change notification handles for the CIFS service.
Searching the NOW site, CD docs, and the toaster mailing list archives just gave me hits on "Yup, it's there," but nothing else.
Can anyone reference a pointer on more information? What the ONTAP limit is? If there are any tunable parameters?
