But presumably what you will be booting when you do a non-floppy boot on FilerB is whatever the last "download" on FilerA put on the discs (from its root volume /etc/boot, of course)? So you had better be sure that the ONTAP version you were running on FilerA and the version you populated its /vol/vol1/etc with are the same, if you want to avoid brain strain for either FilerB or yourself...
