To preserve ACLs when copying you can just use scopy.exe. It comes with the NT resource kit. Alternatively you can use a backup/restore process.
There are also some very nice third party migration tools, such as SecureCopy from smallwonders.com, which copy files+ACLs, shares, local groups, etc. between servers.

Okay, so I didn't find something like this on the NOW site. Am I just sadly mistaken on how NT copy and ACLs work? Are there any third party utilities anyone knows about that will do this?
