Somebody here recently sent out, to a mailing list that includes everybody at NetApp, mail that explains how to join a mailing list (i.e., send mail to the "-request" address, *NOT* to the list), and explains that we have a local exploder.
Hopefully, that will reduce the level of "subscribe" noise from NetApp employees, at least. I'll also look into adding that to stuff given to every new employee (something that should probably be done by every other organization that provides Internet e-mail access, although that, like every other piece of documentation that explains how to do stuff, brings to mind the old saying "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink").
