Nick,
SSD is only supported on the DS4243 shelf. It is not supported on the DS2246. Also, when configuring a system with SSD you have to have them in a separate stack from any other disk technology.

Hi all,
I know the DS2246 supports both SSDs and SAS drives, and I know this is not recommended, but for the purposes of answering a hypothetical question posed to me, is it technically possible to mix ssds and sas drives in the same shelf?
Thanks in advance, Nick _______________________________________________ Toasters mailing list Toasters@teaparty.net http://www.teaparty.net/mailman/listinfo/toasters
