Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for the reply. Excuse my ignorance here but I looked at the disk statistics from statit and it I can't see how I can determine the random/sequential workload distribution from the counters shown.
From further reading it appears to me that if you have mixed workloads on a
VMware datastores the aggregate workload on the array will be mainly random?
