An option could be to revert from 9.5 to 9.4 and then again from 9.4 to 9.3, it should be possible... you can just use the ontap software as you download it for your controllers... I'm not sure if it is possible to do netboot from a simulated ontap, but if it is, you should be able to do a netboot directly into 9.3 and start from there...
So google "netapp netboot"... basically you halt the system in the bios, then set and IP with the ifconfig command, then unpack the ontap package somewhere reachable with http, and then point your "netboot" command to the /netboot/kernel... Then select the "Install new software first"... and you should be golden...
If that is not possible from the simulator, you can always go the revert route which will take a while... so google "netapp revert"...

Hello Toasters,
Does NetApp provide the option to download old versions of the ONTAP Simulator? I'm looking for version 9.3 (any patch release) specifically but I am coming up empty.
The oldest version of the simulator I see available is 9.5P6. I'm finding no links to older versions of the simulator anywhere on the support site.
Cheers, Phil _______________________________________________ Toasters mailing list Toasters@teaparty.net https://www.teaparty.net/mailman/listinfo/toasters
