Forgive me while I cringe.
I know of no way to delete a particular file from all snapshot copies other than removing the snapshots or rebuilding the system without the offending files. Do you need the snapshots for any reason?
Can you explain to the vendor that the snapshot copies are being treated no differently than backup tapes or snapvault copies? It's just for data protection.

We have no tapes; historical backup is in many online snapvault copies.
