Just install the host utility kit. That will increase the scsi timeouts and a few other latency settings so that io is suspended during failover.
FYI, a lot of people go with NFS for oracle, including oracle hosted services. It's often simpler to manage, and very similar in performance.
There is an oracle best practice guide on the support site that almost certainly has an iscsi section.
