Hi Nick, If I'm understanding your question correctly, you do not need to emulate anything. The DLT7000s have been fully supported since DataONTAP 5.1.1. Regards, Darleen

How do I know which qualified tape drive I can emulate? I have a Sun Microsystems L280 Autoloader (6 slots, DLT7000). I'm running Ontap 5.3.6r2 and will be upgrading to 6.1r1 soon. Thanks in advance
