I'm coming in on Sunday to cable two Sun L280 (4700?) DLT 7000 7 tape stackers to my FAS940.
Support told me that the system will probe the SCSI controller and yield the correct device types.
Here's my sysconfig -v output:
slot 8: SCSI Host Adapter 8a (Adaptec AIC7899A) HW Version 0.0 Ultra160 SCSI, Low Voltage Differential slot 8: SCSI Host Adapter 8b (Adaptec AIC7899A) HW Version 0.0 Ultra160 SCSI, Low Voltage Differential
Anything I should know to get these bad boys to work? I'll be configuring them as NDMP devices from my Legato 6.1.3 server next week.
