Hi Luis
Yes, you should be able to directed attach a fibre channel tape drive: http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/ontap/rel722/html/filer/f200hwsv/ca...
In order to know if your tape device is supported you can check the system configuration guide at this URL: http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/hardware/NetApp/syscfg/scdot722/ind...
If your tape drive is not listed there take a look at http://now.netapp.com/NOW/knowledge/docs/ontap/rel722_vs/html/ontap/tapebkup... as you might very will still be able to use it.
Hope this helps!

Hi
I don't have experience with SAN.
My question is:
Can I connect directly a SAN tape with a FAS270c, without the use of a SAN switch between them?
Thanks
Luis
