Help,
I keep getting these, but they correct themselves.
"emu 5 reports no right fan" "Fault reported on disk storage shelf attached to slot 7a"
Questions:
1) Which of the two 7A shelfs is emu 5? How do I count them? Is there some kind of numbering scheme or switch setting for the emu chain?
2) From which direction is the right fan? Facing the front shelf panel or facing the rear of the shelf (i.e., looking at the fans themselves)?
By the time I get a notice and get in to check it, it clears itself. If I can isolate the particular fan, I'll move it around and see if the fault follows the fan.
I'm a self-maintainer, no maint contract ($$$$).
