Question of the day:
What is the best way to use quotas in an NT environment? My user list changes frequently, and my groups are a mess.
[Garrett Burke] For home directories (for a 160 user environment.) we use a default quota and then add specific user quotas for special cases. If user base changes then a default is the way to go We also use qtrees for all the stuff shared between users and these also have quotas on them.
e.g etc/quota has entries like this
/vol/vol0/releases tree 18G 250K joebloggs user@/vol/vol0/users 300M 10K * user@/vol/vol0/users 100M 5K
Thanks, Ferdie
