You could turn off automatic aggregate snapshots, but you must be able to take aggregate level snapshots in a metrocluster because it's required for SyncMirror. You must have enough aggregate snapshot space for the syncmirror snapshots to be created and maintained.

Does anyone know if the aggr snapshot can be turned off on a metrocluster? It looks like it creates a separate aggr snapshot that metro uses, and the schedule could be disabled, or paired down for space reclamation.
