What is the size of the database you are looking for ??
oracle parameter "db_file_multiblock_read_count" cannot be utilized effectively if you have block size other than 4KB.

Erm... don't you *work* for Oracle? You should be the experts. ;-)AFAIK, Oracle has officially supported locating tablespaces on NAS for some time now.
