Perhaps a form on your intranet (or on NOW) that subscribes the person might be handy... It is what we ended up doing.
Perhaps netapp could create a local reflector so that they only need to maintain one subscription to toasters. Not only would it decrease load on the listserv, but it would avoid the steady flow of subscribe requests for their employees.
Moreover, it would avoid the next few questions:
1) Does netapp require its employees to subscribe to this list?
2) Is netapp hiring a bunch of new people?
(and just because I've gone to all the trouble of writing out a mail message, I'll ask:) 3) What's the status of java?
4) Can someone point me to some reference for webnfs (is this cifs?)
