That's what you get for using a gui?
Seriously, if their customer is using a gui they probably feel they need to protect them from themselves and put in restrictions. No such restrictions from the cli.

Hello Toasters!
Ok, trying to understand somthing here. I have a V-series 3140 running DOT 7.3.2.p3.
We reciently added a SAS card, and 2 new SAS shelves (450 flavor :))
When I go to create a new aggr, I only see 14 disk as an option for the raid group size.
I dont have the option of raid4 or raid dp. I called support, and he said they changed this in the GUI to only have 14 as the max option as of DOT 7.3.1.....
This does not sound right. yes, I know I can create an aggr, and change the raid group size. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or have noticed this. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/raid-group-size- tp28441934p28441934.html Sent from the Network Appliance - Toasters mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
