why are CIFS-shares not sufficient? Would be much easier. Never tried to
mount nfs-exports under windows, sorry.
Sadly i do not understand the ssh/rsh-thing. But if you say that rsh
works but ssh not, have you checked on the filer that "options
ssh.enable" "options ssh1.enable" and "options ssh2.enable"??
Also "options ssh.access" is interesting for you.

I can execute normal commands using ssh on that windows machine from my
linux boxes but I can not successfully execute mount/ net use commands.
Every time I try it, I get error: The local device name is already in
use.
Though I can execute same commands using rsh. Any clue whats wrong here?
