I have not personally confirmed it, but another SA here confirms for me that it support 1+0. In other words, he yanked one drive of each pair, selecting half from one sub-mirror, the other half from the other sub-mirror. That is 1+0. This was with SDS 4.2.
However, since I hate relying on hearsay, I will repeat this experiment on an E450 as soon as I round up an hour to spare.
