I'm still running 4.3.4, going to upgrade to 5.x shortly.
One question:
On the volumes that can be created, can I set up some to have snapshots, and some that don't?
Or is it only system-wide?
Hi Jaye,
In 5.X, snapshots are scheduled on a per-volume basis, so you can certainly schedule snapshots seperately per volume with:
snap sched <vol-name> <schedule>
Options are also set per volume, so you can even disable them on a particular volume.
