I've just added a SAN based IBM 3500 (with 3592 EO5 drives in it) to my Nearstore R200 running 7.2.4. I now see a changer "mc0" on the filer.
I'd like to test the datapath to the drive from the filer and run a filer dump command, but the IBM guys say there is no way to mount a tape via their web interface. (I have yet to configure the changer in Tivoli)
Is there autochanger commands in OnTap ? I want to mount a tape via OnTap. I don't see any reference in the Data Protection Guide....
