There ought to be an option to skip the check, along with promised of dire consequences if you don't heed the warning. ;-)
We ended up finding a program, Dlttools.zip, that let's you change the name of the label on the SCSI drive, and the netapp was happy.
It's soft-configurable? I thought it would have been something burned into the ROM's. I'll hunt around for a bit to see if I can find it. Since it's a ZIP file, I assume this is a DOS or Windows utility?
