netapp ndmpcopy is not supporting more than 3 level because of this : - it is sufficient to make a migration operation (level 0 to make the biggest part of the job, level 1 at the end of the day, and level 2 when protocols are off - cifs nfs and maybe more - in order to be sure the data is up to date - if ndmpcopy would manage more than 3 levels, it could be dramatically concurence the snapmirror functionality - as snapmirror is not free, it would means less money for netapp
if you would to use ndmpcopy for a mirroring affair, you can consider getting a snapmirror licence if you would to backup on tape, note you can do this with the snapmirror to tape functionality of snapmirror if you really don't have money and/or want to really use ndmpcopy - at your own risk - go and get ndmpcopy on http://www.ndmp.org here you can find source code for ndmpcopy for solaris, hp-ux and linux (check for the patch which enables the infinite incremental - so cool)
enjoy

It looks like ndmpcpopy has only 3 level on increments.0,1,2. So i run 0 on 13th, 1 on 14th, 2 on 15th. What do I do on 16th?
Thanks
