Does anyone have any concrete experience with what the performance impact of the WAFL reorg that upgrading from 6.3.x to 6.4.x causes is?
I have some very loaded (almost disk bound) 960C's running 6.3.2, which I need to upgrade to 6.4.1 (because I'm told that the new DS14 Mk2 shelves that we're adding are not supported by 6.3.x). And I'm worried about the performance impact of the upgrade is: how much disk/CPU increase it uses while it runs, and how long the reorg typically takes.
I've asked the same question of NetApp support, but I was wondering if anyone here has some personal experience.
