Is this still the case as of Data ONTAP 7.3.3? I hear rumors from time to time of the limit being increased to 2TB or beyond, though I understand memory is the limiting factor.

Thanks to Dave for pointing me in the right direction.
Looks like under 7.3.3 on the FAS2050 we can go up to 2TB which is an improvement over the 1TB limit in 7.3.1.
