Hi Uwe,
one thing to keep in mind: we're working with 4K blocks here and with inodes (which also means directories). And then we have KB, MB, GB, KiB, MiB, GiB, ... and metadata in the volume. Don't try to be too exact.
If you have a 1024KB quota, try to copy 5 files each with 500KB. The third one should produce an error. And so on.

When testuser ist copy files 2x 512k (as sample) and will then copy one more file, quota works. The new file is 0k. BUT when testuser copy a 5MB single file (volume is empty), ontap give me a error: wafl.quota.user.exceeded:notice: uid 1004: disk quota on volume vol_test. What is the trick????
