I'm always frightened. Things are just getting out of control. Too much data, too many users. Argh!
You using CIFS heavily Graham?
Not yet, but i will be. My tech support guy alerted me a few days ago to upgrade from 5.1 to 5.1.D3 (which i think is basically the same as 5.1R1) We will be using mixed volumes pretty much exclusively.
I haven't seen the same problems you have, but we are still testing the small things - i haven't put it through any stress tests yet - sounds like you have. Please keep us up to date with your problems - i'd really like to know if the software upgrade fixes them.
